There is a great buzz that Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan hosted a lavish party for the Hollywood A-listers at the Billion Dollar hotel in Dubai over the weekend.A source reports, “After the launch party of Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai, hosted by international hotelier, Sol Kerzner (Chairman- Kerzner International) and Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, SRK and Gauri hosted a party at their Atlantis Bridge Suite (costs 14,000 pound a night).”He adds, “At the after-launch party, SRK and Gauri played host to some of Hollywood’s biggest names like Robert De Niro, Gerard Butler, Mischa Barton, Mary-Kate Olsen, Kylie Minogue, Charlize Theron, Lindsay Lohan, Wesley Snipes, tycoon Richard Branson and some of SRK’s close friends from B-Town like Hrithik and Sussanne Roshan, Arjun and Mehr Rampal and Farhan Akhtar. The rocking party went on till the wee hours of the morning.”

Supermodels Agyness Deyn, Petra Nemcova,and Yasmin Le Bon, Musicians Janet Jackson, Lily Allen and Shirley Bassey, Sportstars like Michael Jordan and Boris Becker were among the attendees too.“Shah Rukh says that the party only ended by 7 am and they had a great time. Celina gifts herself a BMW

Celina Jaitely celebrated her 27th birthday with the illness of her puppy and no family members beside her.The birthday girl said, “My puppy Gooblee was unwell the whole day. My parents left Mumbai and my dog didn’t take well to their absence. So she swallowed plastic. The entire day before my birthday the vet was trying to pull the plastic out of his throat. Not a very pleasant way to bring in my birthday.”She adds, “It’s a rather happy place to be in. Unfortunately none of my family members are really in Mumbai to celebrate my birthday with me. And to me that’s not a very happy birthday for me.”However the girl is gifting herself a brand new BMW, she says, “I need that boost. I’ve been working hard and my Golmaal Returns is a hit. So I need to indulge myself. I know a girl’s bestfriend are diamonds, but she needs a posh car to get to the jewellery store. So a BMW. And then I’m so lucky in so many ways. I’ve friends who are so supportive.And parents who love me for what I am.”

Farhan back to acting

Farhan has been bitten by the acting bug really hard as he has postponed his directorial movie, Voice From the Sky, to act in a thriller being directed by Vijay Lalvani.Farhan says, “Voice From The Sky is currently being pushed forward. Instead, Ritesh Sidhwani and I are producing a film that will star me in it. We start in March. It is a really good script. I have a great role in the film. And that’s what finally tilted the scales towards my taking up another acting assignment.”Well it would be a treat to watch Farhan on the large screen once again. A doubt: Will he sing again?

Once, I found something that said, ‘Preity’s hush hush wedding video’. And it was a video of some other people getting married! King Kumar will be shooting with Carmen for a promo song  for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kambakkht Ishq.Sajid reveals, “It’s too early to talk about this. But yes, we’re shooting a promotional music video with Akshay Kumar  and a foreign female celebrity. At the moment we’ve wrapped up the entire shooting of Kambakkht Ishq. It’s by far the most expensive film I’ve ever produced. But when I look at the action scenes featuring Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Sylvester Stallone, I’m more than happy.”Apparently Carmen will be accompanied by more than fifty people for the shoot, which includes her personal stylists, designers, cooks and other helpers.Whoa!
