Aishwarya- A Totally Bankable Star

Bollywood gurus believe that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is one of the most bankable stars in the Indian film industry. Film critic, Taran Adarsh confirms, “Aishwarya’s career graph has been very good though not excellent but she is the only actress who can attract national and international crowds. She is the face of so many international brands and a very good actress also.” Jagmohan Mundhra who directed Ash in provoked said, “She is a superstar. Not only is she a recognised name worldwide; she is a totally bankable star. My personal experience with her from ‘Provoked’ says that the film wouldn’t have worked without her.”

“The best thing about her is that despite her stature, she is completely a director’s actor. She would also give her inputs in the character and would never come back to see a shot once the director approves it. She is thoroughly professional,” Mundhra added. Priyanka Chopra also has some praises to heap on Ash, she says, “She is a gorgeous lady, a very elegant person and a great representative of India abroad and I think she has made some great cinema recently. I’d like to watch a lot more of her in films,”

Saif Is My Perfect Man: Kareena

Kareena Kapoor, as she grows older, is being more and more candid with the media. In a recent interview, she was more willing to talk about things like her diet, Shahid, and Saif. Kareena said she is now a better - calm and stronger person now. She said, “I’m a stronger girl now, far more at ease with myself than I was earlier. I’m doing things, which I want to.” Talking about her break-up with Shahid Kapoor she said, “It was a very difficult perieod. Whatever went wrong between Shahid and me is very personal. I have always maintained that Shahid will always be a part of my life. But, we are better off as friends. There is no animosity… Some times there are no reasones for things that happen in life. Even if there’s one, I dont think its right to talk about it openly.” Moving on to Saif, Kareena says he is her perfect man. “He is fun and extremely loyal. He has all the qualities which I always wanted in a man. He is also very supportive and gives me space.” Marriage she says will happen in about 2-3 years time hopefully with Saif. Till then she just wants to be with him

When Hrithik let his hair down…

Returning home after a long and hectic schedule of his home-production Kites, Hrithik Roshan decided to spend some quality time with his family. And what better occasion than his wife, Sussane's birthday last Sunday to let his hair down? Hrithik invited the crème-de la crème of Bollywood to join him to wish Sussane a very happy birthday.
It so happened that we were passing by Hrithik's house (Palazzo Apartments in Juhu) and noticed some heavy duty lighting and music emanating from the house. The buzz at the Roshan house set us into a fact-finding mission. In fact, the flats of Rajesh Roshan and Rakesh Roshan who occupy the top three floors in the building - floor 8, 9 and 10, (see pic), were also lit up.
So what did the guest list read like? Among a host of Bollywood biggies there were Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Karan Johar, Kajol, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Neelam, Yash Chopra and Uday Chopra.
Our source from Bollywood who attended the party said, “Every year, Hrithik celebrates Sussane's birthday in great style. Unlike the past years, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherji were conspicuous by their absence this year.

Shah Rukh couldn't make it as he was in Dubai. Yashji came in for 10-15 minutes only. Abhishek and Aishwarya stayed late and it was good to see the couple enjoying themselves. Recently, both of them have had a stressful time because of their fathers' illness and it was time that they had a night out.”The party that began at 11 pm wound up only after 2.30 am. Our source close to the Roshans said, “It was great to see the superhero, Hrithik, in a family-man avatar, letting his hair down and shaking a leg to some racy numbers.”
