‘Rang Rasiya’ Based On Life of Painter Raja Ravi Varma Screened

“Rang Rasiya” a sensuous love story based on the life of noted painter Raja Ravi Varma got released at 52nd London Film Festival. At the release of Bilingual movie at London Festival, the stars of the movie Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen were also present at the venue. The film is released along with another interesting Indian entry “Slumdog Millionare”. Rang Rasiya is also released at Cannes and Venice film festivals also.

Varma’s life filled with up and downs from early life in Kerala to his life in Mumbai of British period where he got in love relation with Sugandha- her beloved  and his conflict with religious leaders on his paintings being erotic and blasphemous all has been voiced in this movie. The movie is set to be released in December.
