SRK was busy with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and has now started shooting for DMG, which is directed by Sushmita Sen’s beau Mudassar Aziz.”

Preity Zinta insists that for film promotions she wants media to follow and write about her, but when it comes to some good cause she wants the media to stay away.
She says, “Film promotions, ad shoots, no problem. It’s about selling a film at that point.”However when she was in Delhi for a good cause, she wanted media to keep away, she says, “When you want to do something from your heart, the point of publicizing it becomes such a big deal and what you really want to do becomes second priority.”“And it started when I was doing the bravery awards campaign. I was standing on stage with all these brave people, I felt so small in front of them… and the photographers pushed them so that they could get my picture. Of course, I know that people need to know about these things, but not to the extent that it takes away from the spirit of what you’re trying to do. Not everything is about a photo-op!”Point taken pretty Preity.
Amitabh Bachchan like all Mumbaikars has been glued to the TV watching the ghastly acts of terrorism unfold one by one and praying that this nightmare gets over as soon as possible. He was so terrorized that for the first time in his entire life he had to sleep with a loaded gun for safety.
He wrote on his blog,“As the events of the terrorist attack unfolded in front of me, I did something for the first time and one that I had hoped never ever to be in a situation to do. Before retiring for the night, I pulled out my licensed .32 revolver, loaded it and put it under my pillow, for a very disturbed sleep.”
All we can do is pray for the safety of all the people in and around Mumbai. Lets hope our police force and army manages to get rid of those nasty terrorists.
The terror attacks have effected everyone in Mumbai, including our Bollywood stars. Although everyone is safe and sound but actor Ashish Chaudhary’s sister and her husband are held hostage by the terrorists at the Oberoi Trident Hotel of Mumbai.‘My sister Monica and her husband have been inside the hotel along with maybe 40 other hostages. They came here for dinner last night, but now they are not answering any calls,’ he told a news channel Thursday.‘My parents have been here since last night and when we last heard from them, they told us that they have seen two terrorists and have heard a lot of gun shots. I didn’t come at night fearing there will be panic, but since morning I have been standing here, waiting for them to be released,’ he added.
We sincerely hope all the 40 hostages get released safely and alive.
