Katrina finds new love

Serene beauty Katrina Kaif is flying high these days with one after another hit. Now she has developed a new love for speed. Very few know that Kat has a great fascination for cars.

Katrina says, “I always had a passion for cars. I loved the thought of owning luxury cars. I told myself that the day I’d earn money I’d buy expensive sports cars.”

Today Katrina is hitting the headlines for her role in Rajneeti where she is playing the role of congress president Sonia Gandhi. In this film, Kat will get enough scope to showcase her acting talent. To fit to the role, she has undergone voice modulation also.

She will be in ‘never seen before’ avatar with devoid of glamour. A clipping of Kat playing Sonia has been leaked in the media where she is looking very simple wrapped in saffron sari therefore donning the look of a perfect politician. At present she is shooting with Ranbir Kapoor for Rajkumar Santhosi’s Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahini.

When John & Katrina were bounced back from the nightclub

Currently, Katrina Kaif and John Abraham are in US shooting for director Kabir Khan’s film ‘New York’. It so happened that during the shoot, one of the crew members threw a party at a nightclub and invited Katrina, John and the director to the party. However, when John and Katrina, along with Kabir Khan, got to the club, they were denied entry because they were reportedly not carrying proper identification proofs. They even told the bouncers that they were known stars from India, but the argument apparently cut no ice with the American bouncers.

So, while everyone else were partying hard inside, John and Katrina found themselves bounced out of the nightclub. They even drove back to their hotel and returned with ID proofs. But it was too late by then and the party had already died down.

 

Salman takes Katrina for a ‘MacDonald’ date

Though our film stars are fitness freaks and especially our Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, they have their own shares of binging at casual dates once in a while. So, it was that after a recent trip to Salman’s Panvel farmhouse, the couple were returning to Mumbai when they felt the need to stop for some fast food as they both were hungry. They stopped at Mac Donald’s for a burger date. The moment their fans saw the land cruiser waiting outside MacDonald’s they rushed to them for photographs and autographs.

The couple were ate their sporting best and willingly entertained their fans and their quick stop at the fast food joint resulted in a long wait.

Salman Khan’s autorickshaw escapades

Salman Khan loves fast cars , heavy metal bikes, bicycles and auto rickshaws and his love for auto rickshaw was so high on Friday, 1.15 am after a series of drinks that he merrily drove an auto rickshaw till his home and girlfriend Katrina Kaif accompanied him in his auto escapades.

An onlooker said, “Salman walked in with Katrina around midnight. They settled for a table in the private dining room. Salman ordered vodka and washed down five to six pegs. Katrina did not drink; she only had dinner. They were seen chatting and looked happy in each other’s company.”

After the dinner Salman drove the auto, and Katrina followed him in the car with the auto driver sitting next to her.

The source adds, “He seemed very well-versed with the rickshaw controls.”

Katrina Kaif is dating the man who started the trend of six-packs in Bollywood industry - Salman Khan. She praises all actors today who are following his footsteps and have build great bodies. But she feels that when a woman falls in love its not the packs that she looks for but for kindness and charm.She says, ‘’If I want to be politically correct I can say all our heroes have good bodies today. Everyone looks good because all of them work hard on their bodies. One of the first was Salman. And it is always tough to maintain a good body for so long. Akshay also has one of the finest lean and tough bodies. Aamir has developed a great physique. This is remarkable because it’s tougher to build such a body and maintain it after a certain age. But, frankly, what a girl looks for in a man are not his six-packs, his looks, or his age difference – it’s just his kindness and his charm that win women over.”

Katrina yet to do a great comedy

Katrina has been synonymous with many hit comedies lately be it Namastey London, Partner, Welcome or more recent Singh Is Kinng. However the stunning actress is still waiting for a great comic role.

She says, “I think I have yet to do a great comic role. I have done a lot of comedy films but I don’t think I have done an out and out comic role.”

Katrina feels that her role in Namastey London was just funny and not comic, she says, “I still haven’t really done a comedy yet.”

I use a face wash by Mene & Moy which has two per cent salicylic acid and Lancôme Cleansing Milk for the face and eyes.  I am addicted to the Purifying Apricot Oil from Anne Semoin. To deal with a beauty emergency I rely on a mineral mud mask by Anne Semoin. It calms my skin.”

Makeup
“I like to play up my eyes with lots of mascara by Yves Saint Laurent. My look for the coming season is traditional with more emphasis on the eyes with MAC kohl, keeping cheeks and lips neutral with a bronze highlighter from Laura Mercier and a MAC lip gloss in nude.”

Clothes
“I like to wear Floral summer dresses or tracks and sweatshirts or cargo pants and sleeveless tee shirts during the day I don’t party too often, but when I do, I opt for a Tarun Tahiliani Indo-Western or Rocky S’ Westerns. I just cant do without my Lee Jeans.”

In fact, 9 of Mars can make a person impulsive and accident-prone, so he better watch out instead of playing superhero! A very potent combination rules him, so he should avoid multi-starrers and take up work that has him in the lead. He and his father should make more films together as all their three films were huge hits.

Salman Khan
He is governed by number 9, the fiery Mars (Mangal), the planet of energy, which makes a person impetuous, accident-prone, stubborn and inflexible. I’m accident prone says Katrina Kaif

Earlier this month Katrina Kaif suffered a nose injury thanks to Ranbir Kapoor’s tight slap. Her face swelled and her shooting had to be cancelled. This time she injured her leg while shooting for another flick De Dhana Dhan.

Unit members report that Katrina was doing an underwater sequence with Akshay Kumar when her foot got tangled under water.

“The more she tried to extricate herself the more her leg got tangled. She tried to scream for help, but because of the noise on the sets including the stunt co-ordinators who were shouting instructions to the entire cast, no one heard Katrina’s screams of pain,” a source told IANS.
“Akshay saw that Katrina was in trouble. He quickly swam to her and got her out of the tangle,” said the source.

Katrina’s leg was badly hurt. “It could’ve been worse,” said the source, “but tetanus shots and sedatives have eased her pain.”

When contacted, Katrina tried to downplay the incident saying: “It was nothing. I hurt my leg. There was a cut that hasn’t healed as yet. So I’m in pain.”

That Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai lost the deal of jewelry brand Nakshatra to Katrina Kaif a few months back had already been informed to you at our space. And undoubtedly, the decision of the company seemed to be apt as we saw Katrina sizzling and dazzling at the promotional event for Nakshatra.

If a new person comes to me with a script and says ‘let’s go for it’, I should be really willing to take risks to agree but I guess that will also happen sometime. Working with new directors is risky.”Katrina also stresses on the right man behind the camera, “If a director who can’t pull off a good script comes up to me with a fantastic script and I love it, it is still a meaningless and futile exercise to go ahead with the film. For me, who directs the film is of utmost importance,” says Katrina.Well all new Bollywood directors who were keen to cast Katrina must be sobbing on reading this news.

Ranbir Kapoor Smacks Katrina Kaif Nose Injured!

Ranbir Kapoor hit Katrina Kaif on her nose so hard that she fell on ground yelling in pain. They were shooting at Madh Island in Mumbai for Raj Kumar Santoshi’s forthcoming film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Katrina was attended by a doctor and a nurse immediately and the film’s shooting was cancelled due to this incident.A member of the film crew revealed, “An elaborate set was created at Madh Island and it was a chase sequence where Ranbir and Katrina were supposed to be running away from some goons. All was fine till the point where Ranbir needed to suddenly turn around. He did that but in the bargain hit Katrina’s nose with his hand and the delicate actress went tumbling to the ground. She was in great pain but realised that it was unintentional, so she didn’t complain.”

Katrina confirmed the incident saying, “Yes (it did happen). It’s ok now.”

Ranbir Kapoor hits Katrina Kaif!

It was an unintentional blow but a blow it was when Ranbir Kapoor hit right on Katrina Kaif’s nose leaving the delicate lady bleeding. It all happened on the sets of the Rajkumar Santoshi film ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’.

This Monday evening, the stars of the film were shooting a chase sequence at an elaborate set created at Madh Island. Ranbir and Katrina were supposed to be running away from some goons and when Ranbir needed to suddenly turn around during the shoot, his hand inadvertently hit Katrina on her face and the delicate actress was left with a bleeding nose.

According to reports, Ranbir immediately apologized to the actress, but she took no offence because she knew the blow wasn’t intended. However, Katrina was in pain and had to be given first-aid on the sets. A worried Santoshi called off shooting for the day. The next day, too, Santoshi did not shoot the film but used the free time to do some decoration on the sets.

Well, all Ranbir is doing at present is keeping his fingers crossed so the Sallu Bhai (who is just too possessive about his girlfriend) does not take it as an intentional offence!
